Aaron Baddeley: What’s in the bag?

Aaron Baddeley: What's in the bag?All eyes were on The Open last week, but the PGA TOUR had another event going. It was an exciting finish, too, with Aaron Baddeley of Australia winning his first TOUR event in over 5 years. His last win came in on February 20, 2011 at the Northern Trust Open.He beat Vijay Singh by 2 strokes… This time he won in a playoff over Kim Si-woo.

After TOUR guys win, I am always excited for the “what’s in the bag” posts to show up, and this one was no difference. So, here is what Aaron used to win the 2016 Barbasol Championship.

Driver: Ping G (10.5°), with Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana D+ 80TX shaft
Fairway Wood: Ping G (14.5°), Tour Edge Exotics EX9 (18°), both with Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana D+ 90TX shafts
Irons: Adams MB2 (4-PW), with True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 Tour Issue shafts
Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design TVD (52°, 56°), Titleist Vokey 200 Series (60°), all with True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 Tour Issue shafts
Putter: Odyssey Works #7
Ball: Titleist Pro V1x

After his win, Aaron commented, saying, “I think you could tell by my reaction how much it meant to me. It’s been a long time between drinks,” the 35-year-old went on. Well, Aaron, congrats on the win. You deserve it!
