Las Vegas: Where should I play?

There are a lot of things to do in Las Vegas. You can see a show, eat at some of the biggest and best buffets in town, and dance the night away at some of the best nightclubs in the world. I’ve been to Vegas several times, and I rarely gamble… Who has time to gamble when there are so many things to see and do? The next time you are planning a trip to Sin City, consider bringing your golf clubs. There are a of great golf courses in town, but here are our five favorite.

Las Vegas: Where should I play?

Aliante Golf Club
Located in North Las Vegas, Aliante is an exciting golf course that provides several elevated holes with contours offering unique lie angles and unforgettable views. Gary Panks designed this North Las Vegas gem ensuring that you have an enjoyable experience for even a novice golfer.


Cascata Golf Course
Cascata Golf Course provides stunning vistas at every turn, including a 3,600 foot peak at Red Mountain, lush fairways, lakes, streams and more. Cascata also offers PGA professionals and caddies to provide an unforgettable experience. When in Las Vegas, you can’t afford to miss Cascata Golf Course.


Southern Highlands Golf Club
Southern Highlands is one of the nation’s top private golf courses. Co-designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and his son Robert Trent Jones Jr., Southern Highlights takes advantage of the surrounding terrain to provide an experience you won’t soon forget.


Coyote Springs Golf Club
Less than an hour from the Las Vegas strip, and only 45-mintes from Mesquite, Coyote Springs is a must play. This Jack Nicklaus Signature Design opened in 2008, and in May of 2011 was named by Golf Digest as one of the Top 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses.


Bali Hai Golf Club
You can’t get much closer to the Las Vegas strip than this. Designed by Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley, Bali Hai includes seven acres of water features, over 4,000 trees and over 100,000 tropical plants. This course also showcases spectacular views of the Las Vegas strip. The course opened in 2000, and is one of the most talked about golf courses in all of Nevada.


DragonRidge Country Club
Located in the McCullough Mountains in Henderson, Nevada, DragonRidge is a unique Country Club that offers unsurpassed views of Southern Nevada. The course was designed by Jay Morrish and David Druzisky and is a true members course offering a challenge for all skill levels. This course is nothing short of breathtaking.
