Earlier today, I finally got the chance to meet Patrick Gibbons. I have heard his name online, and have seen his products on Twitter and on the PGA TOUR… But I never realized he lived in Scottsdale. Last week I was playing golf with my buddy Matt, and we talked about Patrick a little bit. I reached out on Twitter and asked for a meeting. Today I got the chance to meet him. Basically, after talking with him for about 45 minutes, I realized that I could literally talk to this dude ALL day about golf. Let alone the awesome products that he makes. All his products are handmade… Hence the name!
Their stuff isn’t cheap, but it’s handmade. So you have to take that into consideration. The company started in 2007 when Patrick started making putter grips in his garage. Since then, their product line has expanded and they make a wide range of products. “We’re happy to say that the putter addiction has transformed into a full on golf addiction with no signs of stopping anytime soon. We also believe it is contagious,” Patrick stated.
It was fun meeting Patrick, and now that I know he is in Scottsdale, I hope to play golf with him someday. Matt, thanks for pushing me across the finish line and forcing me to introduce myself to Patrick. Patrick, thanks for making awesome products that over 45 PGA TOUR players are currently using including Pat Perez and Sergio Garcia. Can’t wait to get some handmade products in my golf bag.
