DESCRIPTION:
This desert jewel lies tucked among some of the most beautiful terrain in the state. Designed by famed Southwest architect, Bill Johnston in 1987, Rancho Manana underwent extensive renovation in 1997 and earned its place among Golf Digest Magazine's Places to Play. Other awards from Golf Digest include, one of the most scenic courses in the state, and top 100 Women friendly courses in the country. Grass tees and tiff dwarff grass overseeded with rye greens throughout. The golf course truly represents golf in the Arizona desert. The course is surrounded by native desert and only 3-4 holes have homes located along the fairways. However, the course is very playable without many forced carries of any length. *GOLF SHOP HOURS: Opens 30 minutes prior to first tee time and closes at 6pm daily *DRIVING RANGE: Balls are $6.00 per bag (40 balls). Opens at 30 minutes prior to first tee time everyday except on Tuesdays and Thursdays it opens 1 hour after first tee time so practice area can be mowed Closes at 6pm everyday except Monday and Wednesday when it closes at 1 hour prior to sunset (last time players can hit balls) Dress code applies at the range. Using grass tees. *PRACTICE FACILITIES: Putting green, chipping green and practice bunker. *CLUB RENTALS: Ping rental clubs (men's and women's) available for $45.00 Also, Adams Golf Sets for Women Available for men, women and lefties. *CLUB AMENITIES: Men's and women's locker rooms with showers.
